About The Position
We're bringing the vibrant flavors, and warm hospitality of the Mediterranean to Miami Beach and we're looking for experienced, motivated, hardworking and dependable Stewards to join our opening kitchen team! This is an incredible opportunity to be part of something truly special from the ground up helping to shape the guest experience, build a strong service culture, and be part of a dynamic opening team. The Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and equipment, and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for all staff.
Requirements
- No prior experience required; training will be provided.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment following proper procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area, sinks, and dish racks.
- Ensure garbage and recycling are emptied regularly and properly disposed of.
- Assist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning kitchen surfaces.
- Maintain proper storage and organization of cleaned items.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
- Support kitchen staff by ensuring clean equipment is readily available during service.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the kitchen manager or chef.
