About The Position

Train Stewards, verify daily assignments are complete. Ensure sanitation standards and cleanliness in all kitchen areas: Fin & Feather, Sottoterra, Rooftop 360, and Pub 59 and Canyon Lake. Clean and sanitize all areas of the kitchen and operate the dish washing machine in a safe, accident-free manner. This is a working leadership role with mid-shift hours.

Requirements

  • Education: No formal education required; High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 6 months to 1 year as a dishwasher
  • Skills and Abilities: Operate dish washing machine, dishware handling, floor maintenance. Must be able to read and speak both English and Spanish with strong leadership skills.
  • Acts as a Lead worker in providing training for stewards and assisting an Executive Steward
  • Travel required: Yes
  • Hours Required: Scheduled days and times may vary based on business need.

Responsibilities

  • Work at dishwasher station with stewarding team and maintain organization and ensure proper rack stacking, silverware presoaking and operation of dish machine.
  • Must be able to push/pull, and lift 50 pounds
  • Must be flexible to hours and availability to hospitality operation-weekends.
  • Perform special cleaning projects as assigned as well as working with heavy chemicals.
  • Train new steward as required. (5%)
  • Sweep and mop floors. Keep floors clean and dry, pick-up wet spills immediately. (2.5%)
  • Clean walls, tables, racks, sinks, floors , and disposal area. Polish stainless steel. (2.5%)
  • Clean ovens, hoods, filters, drains, hot boxes, steam tables, flat boxes, and ceiling vents, according to schedule or as specified by Executive Steward. (2.5%)
  • Empty all trash cans over ¾ full at the end of shift wash out and return to kitchen. (2.5%)
  • Maintain mop station with 2 mops/buckets, 2 brooms, and proper cleaning solutions.
  • Cooperate with restaurant personnel and their needs in order to ensure that guests are taken care of.
