About The Position

• Conducts pre-shift meeting with scheduled team members. • Delegates all work assignments to entire staff by shift. • Assists in the selection, training, supervision and evaluation of the stewarding staff. • Trains all new hires in all aspects of deep cleaning and Stewarding. • Covers for Supervisors when they are on PTO. • Manages and is accountable for chemical usage. • Trains on MSDS sheets as required for New Hires. • Sets break schedule for team members by shift. • Communicates as leadership representative to support departments when necessary. • Ensures compliance to standards set by management in scraping, racking, stacking, and washing of china and glassware. • Keeps work area clean and sanitary. • Complies with standards of health, safety, and sanitation. • Understands and practices the use of proper chemicals on property. • Maintains knowledge of sanitation, dishwashing, maintenance, and safety standards. • Monitors and records dish machine temperatures daily. • Directly supervises all stewards and utility stewards on assigned shift. • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
