About The Position

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT STEWARDING MANAGER: Our club in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking to hire a full-time Assistant Stewarding manager. You assure the highest standards in appearance, hospitality and service for staff and cleanliness of all dining and banquet china, glass, silver and cooking equipment. You supervise and train all stewarding staff. You are careful in how you manage the department’s budget while you develop and implement programs to increase revenues through repeat business and higher check averages. You help to supervise the activities of all kitchen stewarding employees to ensure proper ware and pot washing, sanitation of food preparation and storage areas, china, glassware and equipment storage and inventory, as well as assists with banquet food service. Cleans and maintains cooking equipment, floors, and surface areas in all back-of-house food service areas. Requirements

18 years of age or older
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Three+ years of supervisory experience in a comparable position
ServSafe Manager Certification or the ability to obtain
Working knowledge in using a PC and of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook
Are you organized and able to effectively direct others?

Nice To Haves

Associate degree or higher preferred
Private club experience is a plus
Experience in a country club environment as a stewarding supervisor is highly desirable but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.
