About The Position
Maintains kitchen work areas, restaurant equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties. Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- One to three months related experience and/or training helpful; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Skill in identifying and resolving problems under pressure conditions.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Work Permit 1.
- Valid health card or ServSafe equivalent
- Hepatitis A vaccination.
- Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
Responsibilities
- Ensures compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians- Internal Controls, and Northern Quest Policies and Procedures.
- Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.
- Washes pots, pans, and trays.
- Sweeps and mops kitchen floors.
- Washes and sanitizes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and racks.
- Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers.
- Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Requisition cleaning supplies as needed.
- Cleans and organizes banquet items for set up such as chaffers, plates and utensils.
- Available and willing to work any changes in hours deemed necessary for Business Levels.
- Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular good attendance record.
- May be required to be a panelist for the Internal Review Hearings.
