About The Position

The purpose of the Steward position is to prepare the Dining Room for operations and service, including but not limited to executing the set-up of dining spaces and maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant and pertinent equipment. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with other Team Members and Managers/Supervisors
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of math
  • Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to be on feet for a long period of time
  • Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle or golf cart

Responsibilities

  • Prepares the dining room for operations and service
  • Executes the set-up of dining spaces and maintains the cleanliness of the restaurant and equipment
  • Vacuums dining spaces to ensure continued cleanliness
  • Irons table cloths
  • Sets table according to prescribes standards
  • Crumbs chairs
  • Maintains cleanliness of common spaces
  • Performs routine deep-cleaning tasks as assigned by management
  • Moves table and chairs to achieve necessary table configurations
  • Maintains “the look” of the space
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required.
  • Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and interact with our guests.
