Legends Global Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center has an excellent and immediate opening for Steward / Dishwasher at Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center. Stewards are responsible to clean small wares, utensils, and kitchen supplies Keep area, equipment, and utensils clean and sanitary. Maintain safe and sanitary working conditions for kitchen personnel. Rate: $25 per hour Please note that Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center Food and Beverage employees are covered by a collective bargaining agreement with Unite Here Local 11, and a condition of employment is union membership.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 to apply.
  • Received High school diploma or GED
  • Must have current ServeSafe certification.
  • Must have ability to take directions and effectively perform the work.

Responsibilities

  • Keep all dishes, small wares, and utensils cleaned.
  • Organize and maintain proper inventory of small wares, utensils, and cleaning supplies and equipment, reordering when necessary.
  • Clean and properly maintain working areas and equipment in kitchen.
  • Organize and properly store perishables for cooks and receiving and issuing clerks.
  • Follow all rules and regulations of SMG Food & Beverage.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Must be able to lift, move and carry at least 25 pounds.
  • Must have a California Food Handler's Card/Certification.
  • Must be able to work a flexible shift including nights, weekends, and overtime.
