The Steward position reports to the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs (Culinary Leadership Team) and is responsible for maintaining the consistent cleanliness and organization of culinary spaces. The ideal candidate is a "neat-freak" who takes pride in a clean environment, understands the art and science of a restaurant kitchen, and is eager to learn under culinary leadership. They recognize their integral role in the culinary operation, where cleanliness is key to success. The role involves upholding company principles of People, Place, and Character, fostering collaboration, intuitive service, and translocal hospitality. The company, Aparium Hotel Group, manages Hotel Haya in Ybor, Tampa, which blends Cuban, Italian, and Spanish influences and features 178 guest rooms, banquet space, a restaurant, café, and courtyard with a pool.
