About The Position

Marriott Syracuse Downtown is seeking a Part-Time Dishwasher to join the team in Shaughnessy's Pub. The role involves cleaning, transporting, and storing all china, glassware, and silverware, as well as maintaining cleanliness in all kitchen areas and the back dock. Requirements

• Experience handling high volumes of dishes required
• Work habits should always meet and strive to exceed hotel standards for work procedures, dress, grooming, punctuality and attendance
• Welcome change, open to learning new skills, can problem solve effectively and not afraid to ask questions whenever unsure how to do something
• Understand the important role played in the kitchen and the necessity of clean dishes and equipment for guest service
• Understand & believe that every Crescent associate is a guest relations ambassador, every working minute of every day
• Flexible availability including days, evening and weekends required

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in restaurant environments preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of all areas of the dishroom, kitchen aisle, and dock area
• Break down trays, set up dish machine, wash dishware, and sort and store all clean china, glass and silver using proper procedures
• Empty trashcans and wash inside and outside
• Break down dish machine and clean inside and outside
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
