About Allied OMS Allied OMS is a doctor-owned, doctor-led, and doctor-governed management services organization (MSO) in the oral and maxillofacial surgery space that combines the best of private practice with the best of private equity. Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our team at Fort Worth Oral Surgery. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and sterilization for all surgical instruments and equipment used in our oral surgery procedures. Your work will directly impact the safety and the overall efficiency of our facility. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Operate autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and other sterilization equipment to ensure all surgical instruments and tools are thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized according to established protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance.
  • Monitor and track inventory of supplies needed for sterilization procedures and surgical procedures.
  • Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to prevent the spread of pathogens.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient workflow and patient care.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on sterilization processes and troubleshoot any equipment issues.
