About The Position
Baptist Medical Center is looking for a Sterile Processing Technician to support the Sterile Processing Department at Baptist South. This position is a Full-Time, days position. As a Sterile Processing Tech, your responsibilities include: Understand principles of sterilization. Wrap instruments/linen properly, while selecting correct supplies to be used for sterilization. Able to prioritize duties. Knowledge of sterilization equipment and processes they perform Able to decontaminate surgical instrumentation and re-assemble into trays This Sterile Processing Technician position will be located at Baptist Medical Center South. Requirements
- 1-2 years Instrument Experience
- 1-2 years Surgical Instrumentation Experience
- Linen Processing Experience
- Knowledge of regulatory protocols.
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST). Required Or
- Certification Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) Required Or
- High School Diploma/GED

- Associate's Degree
