Requirements

High school or equivalent.
Previous hospital experience preferred but not mandatory.
Will be trained and in-service on the safe operation and use of department machinery.

Responsibilities

Decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of OR surgical instruments.
Decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of instrument sets, trays equipment, and machinery for various other departments.
Assemble, package and sterilize specialty linen sets for OR.
Assemble, package and sterilize specialty linen as requested by various departments.
Monitor and maintain standards of sterilization as recommended by JCAHO
