About The Position

Work Schedule: 100% FTE, 40 hours per week. Shifts scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM. Hours may vary based on the needs of the clinic. We are seeking a Sterile Processing Specialist to: Collaborate with the Sterile Processing Education Specialist, Supervisor, Manager, and OR resource staff on any departmental changes and additions to instruments, processes, workflows, and standards. Develop professional and ethical relationships with staff, customers, and vendors, through effective communication and collaboration. Ensure the database of the instrument tracking system (Ex. Censitrac) is accurate and establish the appropriate and standard reprocessing method for the materials received, used, and checked out. Establish, approve, and update contents and processes for preparation of all instrument trays. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years Reprocessing experience
  • Certification by CBSPD as a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician or IAHCSMM as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician Required
