About The Position

We are seeking a Sterile Processing Specialist to: • Collaborate with the Sterile Processing Education Specialist, Supervisor, Manager, and OR resource staff on any departmental changes and additions to instruments, processes, workflows, and standards. • Develop professional and ethical relationships with staff, customers, and vendors, through effective communication and collaboration. • Ensure the database of the instrument tracking system (Ex. Censitrac) is accurate and establish the appropriate and standard reprocessing method for the materials received, used, and checked out. • Establish, approve, and update contents and processes for preparation of all instrument trays. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • 2 years Reprocessing experience Required
  • Certification by CBSPD as a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician or IAHCSMM as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician Required

Responsibilities
