About The Position

A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Manager to support a high-performing Surgical Services department. This role is ideal for a collaborative leader with strong operational, regulatory, and team development experience within sterile processing environments. The organization is a Magnet®-recognized facility and a Level II Trauma Center , offering a fast-paced and quality-driven clinical setting.

Requirements

Minimum of 3+ years of Sterile Processing experience
Minimum of 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
Completion of a Two-Year Surgical Technology program or CRCST certification (IAHCSMM/HSPA) or CSPDT certification

Nice To Haves

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Strong knowledge of OR instrumentation, aseptic technique, and infection control standards
Experience with SPM Workflow systems preferred
Surgery Center leadership experience will be considered

Responsibilities

Partner with departmental leadership to oversee daily sterile processing operations
Support staff recruitment, retention, training, and ongoing competency validation
Ensure compliance with sterilization standards, aseptic technique, and infection prevention protocols
Maintain high-quality instrumentation processing and efficient workflows across all service lines
Collaborate closely with the Operating Room and specialty departments to align workflows
Lead quality improvement initiatives and recommend strategies for resource optimization
Foster collaboration, accountability, and positive engagement across clinical teams
Ensure regulatory compliance and readiness for accreditation and regulatory surveys
