About The Position

Infrastructure Operations is seeking an ITS Electronic Technician Assistant. This entry-level position will learn and develop skills necessary to assist other Infrastructure Operations staff in the performance of their duties. Typical activities include, but are not limited to, the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic equipment and fiber/copper cabling to support the 24/7 operation of telecommunications services for all University and UK HealthCare departments. Training in competencies and skills is provided through on-the-job, classroom, and related industry programs.
