The Structured Training Entrance Program (STEP) is a dynamic, hands-on training program aimed at preparing the next generation of Omni and Steel Dynamics leaders. You will experience the full cycle of the metals business with a focus on Operations, Commercial Buying (Procurement), and Sales; learning how each of these business segments operate together to provide our customers with outstanding products and service. The training program typically lasts 7-8 months. On successful completion, Trainees are placed in roles in operations or commercial functions across Omni or Steel Dynamics as positions become available. As a STEP Trainee you are eligible for the full Omni benefits and compensation package including a base annual salary, quarterly ROA bonus, and annual Restricted Stock Unit award.
