About The Position
This position will also work in the Teen & Family Department as a Youth Lobby Attendant - STEM Assistant is a grant funded position through the end of 2026. Status of position for 2027 is unknown. - Candidate must be willing to work both positions
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- HS Diploma
- STEM knowledge/interest
- Must be able to work in a school and outdoor environment
- Ability to problem solve and communicate effectively
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with kids is a plus
Responsibilities
- Travel within the community doing STEM project with students
- Host weekly STEM Camp at the branch
- Facilitate daily activities based around STEM
- Ensure safety of participants
- Create and implement STEM based learning for students
