STEM Elementary School Teacher (4th or 5th Grade) Elwood Haynes STEM Elementary School Job Summary: The Teacher will provide diverse learning opportunities using real-world projects and experiences with a STEM focus; receive ongoing training for STEM and 1:1 technology integration; revise curriculum to meet STEM requirements; participate in district and building level professional development; collaborate with other STEM teachers.

Requirements

• Indiana Teaching License-Elementary Certification
• demonstration of leadership
• strong skills in interpersonal communication and collaboration
• history of using differentiated strategies in instruction
• demonstrated ability to integrate technology in instruction

Responsibilities

• Assess and document student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and collaborative planning.
• Supervise students during school activities, field trips, and breaks.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet students' varying needs.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior.
