Our STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) Educators firmly believe that learning doesn’t have to be boring, and they use tools like our high-tech wind tunnel to prove their point. As a STEM Educator, you’re the perfect combination of nerdy and cool that learners of all ages are drawn to. Your superpower is your ability to inspire others to take interest in subjects they never knew they liked. Your playful passion will go a long way as you challenge students to learn about concepts including wind tunnel design and terminal velocity. You’ll lead discussions and hands-on labs in a classroom session, then partner with a Flight Instructor to demonstrate the principles you’ve discussed using our wind tunnel. When class isn’t in session you’ll be refining future lesson plans, networking with local schoolteachers, and attending community events to explain what our STEM program is all about and how meaningful it is to students. You'll also spend time assisting guests as they make reservations and check in for their flight experience. STEM Educators are required to have a bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, STEM education, or a related field, plus experience teaching in a classroom, camp, museum, or other STEM setting.
