Under the lead direction of the Dean and Associate Dean, the STEM Career and Internship Specialist will develop and administer career and internship programming for students in the college. This person is expected to leverage strong institutional, educational, and industry partnerships to sustain and scale accessibility of work-based, experiential learning, and research opportunities in STEM. This person is expected to demonstrate knowledge of local STEM industry needs. The STEM Career and Internships Specialist is expected to provide career exploration support and advice to undergraduate majors in STEM. This person is expected to partner with campus stakeholders to increase employer outreach within STEM industries and assist with employer recruitment activities and events. Position Summary STEM Career and Internship Specialist (Student Services Professional II) This is a full-time, exempt position, which will lead toward permanent status following the successful completion of a probationary period.
