About The Position

As a member of the maintenance team, you will perform layout, assembly, fabrication, maintenance and repairs of process piping/plumbing, structural steel and emergency response in a continuous processing facility. You will join a team composed of different trades supporting our 24/7 uranium production facility, trained in emergency response (Emergency Response Team - ERT). Starting Rate: $50.03/hour + shift premiums. Upon completion of all training rate increases to: $55.59 + shift premiums.

Requirements

• C of Q as a steamfitter
• Achieve NFPA 600 Firefighting Certification
• Achieve NFPA 472 Operations and Technicians Certification
• Physically capable of performing assigned duties
• Able to work a continental shift
• Possesses required trade related hand tools
• Demonstrated work performance that is consistent with a team environment
• Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision
• Strong commitment to health, safety and environment
• Clear background check

Nice To Haves

• Backflow preventer certification
• Experience gained within a chemical plant
