About The Position

General description of main/primary duties and responsibilities of the job, aptitude, level of complexity, span of control, autonomy, decision making and judgement. It is central and necessary to the satisfactory performance of the job. Includes the following and other duties as assigned. Under limited supervision, this position will: Supervise and perform work safely to ensure all employees and contractors adapt and comply with all safety processes and procedures on an ongoing basis. Be responsible for overseeing workforce to maintain clean and hazard free work areas. Comply with all Environmental laws, policies and regulations. Promptly report all adverse environmental conditions. Make sure all employees and contractors have completed the training on hazards. Communicate all safety issues directly to the Company Safety Supervisor and field personnel. Oversee and coordinate the maintenance of ancillary equipment within the Compressor Stations, such as, but not limited to glycol dehydration units, filter vessels, tank farms, instrument air compressors, gas and liquid piping. Coordinate activities related to facilities with employees, contractors and other applicable departments. Be responsible for managing operational costs and budget expectations within assigned area. Be responsible for supervising Plant Operators to ensure reliable and efficient Midstream services. Oversee the participation in Compressor Station PSSR’s (Pre-Startup Safety Review) as lead representative for Station Operations. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least five (5) years of natural gas gathering and/or facility operations experience.
  • At least one (1) year of professional management or supervisory experience.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of gas compression, processing, filtration and overall facility operations.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations specific to 49 CFR Parts 191 & 192.
  • Knowledge of DOT Operator Qualifications for gas gathering and pipeline operations.
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, etc. and use/operation of standard office equipment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities, tasks, growth and direction.
  • Adept at setting priorities, developing a work schedule, monitoring progress towards goals and tracking details, data, activities, etc.
  • Good time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient analytical, mathematical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good collaborative and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead.
  • Able to present, demonstrate, teach or guide others in performance of assigned work.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships to foster and encourage teamwork.

  • Ability to safely operate vehicles, equipment, and tools.
  • Able to recognize and apply safety processes and procedures.
  • Possess valid driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR) that meet Company’s Insurance qualifications to operate Company vehicle.
