AECOM is seeking a Statewide Trainer to be based in Georgia. Statewide Trainers are responsible for providing training to the statewide Districts (1-6) in the operation of the Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS) software, customer service, traffic incident management, radio dispatch and District Operations. They are also responsible for assisting with the development and maintenance of statewide operations training materials, assisting with the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Standard Operating Guides (SOG), and training manuals; conducting recertification testing; and providing coaching to new and existing staff. The routine responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Assist the Statewide Operations Training Manager (SOTM) and Statewide Dispatch Operations Manager (SDOM) with the development and maintenance of a series of classroom and on-line training packages for Operators, and Supervisors. Provide on-site and virtual training with new hires and existing staff. Assist the Statewide Operations Training Manager (SOTM) and Statewide Dispatch Operations Manager (SDOM) with the development and maintenance of classroom and on-line training in conjunction with the Department’s software provider on training for ATMS. Assist the Statewide Operations Training Manager (SOTM) and Statewide Dispatch Operations Manager (SDOM) with the development and maintenance of a customer service training module aimed at traffic incident management dispatch activities. Assist the Statewide Operations Training Manager (SOTM) and Statewide Dispatch Operations Manager (SDOM) with the development and maintenance of Traffic Incident Management, SOPs, SOGs, training manuals, reference library, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and educational materials. Assist the Statewide Operations Training Manager (SOTM) and Statewide Dispatch Operations Manager (SDOM) with the development and maintenance of the CHAMP training modules for the Learning Management System (LMS). Attend TIM meetings to improve training. Participate in bi-weekly statewide training team meetings. Assist management teams in identifying and analyzing training and performance trends. Drive initiatives to identify corrective action plans to resolve performance issues. Provide one-on-one mentoring and coaching for newly hired operations staff. Conduct bi-monthly reviews of training materials and courses to reflect any changes in technology and procedures. Participate in team-based process improvement, team-based performance monitoring, and training/re-training of Operators on new policies and procedures. Conduct statewide certification testing. Perform training on the use and maintenance of the 511ga systems – phone, website, and mobile applications. Perform real-time quality assurance/quality control on operator incidents, incident notifications, and phone calls. Adhere to traffic incident management and CHAMP Dispatch Operations SOPs, SOGs, and information in the training manuals. Capable of performing all the Operator duties. Spend one (1) full shift each month at a district office functioning as a Operator to allow continual growth and improvement of the training experience. Frequent travel statewide, and concurrent days away from home. Other ad-hoc initiatives as assigned by the Project Management Team.
