About The Position
MainStreet Family Care is seeking an adventurous Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for a Statewide Float Provider role in North Carolina and beyond. This position offers the opportunity to travel to multiple MainStreet Family Care clinics, providing urgent and primary care services while gaining diverse clinical experience. The company covers hotel stays and reimburses mileage for travel beyond commuting distance. A schedule is released two months in advance, offering flexibility for planning. The role is new grad friendly, providing training and mentorship.
Requirements
- Current and unrestricted FNP licensure in North Carolina (or ability to obtain).
- Board Certification as an FNP.
- No prior experience needed – new graduates welcome!
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work independently.
Responsibilities
- Float to various clinics within driving distance to provide urgent and primary care services.
- Work in diverse clinic environments, meeting new patients and teams regularly.
- Perform patient assessments, diagnose conditions, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
