About The Position
Are you an adventurous Physician Assistant (PA) looking for a flexible and exciting career? Do you love variety, travel, and working in different clinical settings? As a Statewide Float Provider, you’ll have the chance to visit multiple MainStreet Family Care clinics across North Carolina and beyond, helping communities while gaining diverse clinical experience. We cover your hotel stays and reimburse mileage, so you can travel stress-free! Plus, with a schedule released two months in advance, you can plan your adventures with ease. This role offers the chance to travel while you work, explore different towns and communities across North Carolina, with hotels covered and mileage reimbursed when working beyond commuting distance. You'll have guaranteed 3-4 workdays per week, providing full-time stability with built-in flexibility. This position is new grad friendly, with no experience needed as MainStreet Family Care provides training and mentorship.
Requirements
- Current and unrestricted PA licensure in North Carolina (or ability to obtain).
- Board Certification as a PA.
- No prior experience needed – new graduates welcome!
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work independently.
Responsibilities
- Float to various clinics within driving distance to provide urgent and primary care services.
- Work in diverse clinic environments, meeting new patients and teams regularly.
- Perform patient assessments, diagnose conditions, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
