About The Position

The Product Management Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for the development of product plans, strategies and tactics in coordination with the Product Management team. The overall objective of this role is to coordinate the promotion of products to develop new markets, increase share of market and obtain competitive position. Citi Services organization has prioritized platform centralization and modernization agenda together with streamlining the operating model for client reporting across its business verticals. The Statement Global Product team is responsible for achieving best-in-class client experience and operating excellence by leveraging data standardization, enrichment and innovative client activity reporting models. The Statements Global Product Manager will oversee the business case, investments, program administration, execution progress and client and franchise outcomes tracking for client reporting product suite spanning account statements, interest statements, fees, commissions and rebates statements as well as event notifications and advices.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of marketing, credit, acquisitions, product development, and/or analytics
  • Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree
  • Ability to analyze capability gaps and drive root cause analyses to recommend specific product enhancements and associated benefit projections
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders across product lines, functions and countries/regions to improve business processes
  • Ability to support strategic product and portfolio decisions via data acquisition, analysis and narrative presentation
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Extensive data acquisition and analysis experience, using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy or similar data analysis and visualization tools
  • Prior experience and knowledge of transaction banking business, corporate treasury/cash management function and electronic statements production and delivery in industry standard formats such as SWIFT MT9xx, camt.05x, BAI2 etc.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in development and analysis of strategic product roadmaps, product enhancement and development, product launches, and product marketing to gain maximum benefit from each product, as well as review surveys and analyze competitive industry landscapes to identify relative trends, threats, and opportunities for product managers
  • Participate in day-to-day product management for core products such as product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies as well as help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results
  • Execute client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to achieve preferred status as a partner to Citi clients
  • Provide informal guidance or on-the-job training to new team members
  • Oversee client and competitor market research, develop product innovation roadmap, and assist product managers in addressing fundamental trials of product commoditization to create an advanced set of solutions
  • Contribute to achievement of acquisition targets, product financial performance, revenue performance, and expense management goals as well as oversee identification and execution of opportunities and gaps business plans
  • Implement team procedures, client problem resolution, and client management
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Implement platform centralization and modernization strategy
  • Conduct client and competitor research
  • Develop platform SWOT analyses
  • Articulate and prioritize platform, product offering and operating model requirements and manage development and launch roadmaps
  • Lead cross-functional teams and oversee product development planning, execution and rollout campaigns
  • Measure and report OKR progress along committed business outcomes
