Drive Tower Hill Specialty's profitable growth and innovate its products by joining our Product Management team. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Property Insurance State Product Manager for Texas. This manager will build product strategy and drive pricing and non-pricing decisions. This position is responsible for the profitable growth and strategic management of various property insurance lines of business. You will collaborate with key stakeholders across Marketing, Underwriting, Compliance, Legal, and Actuarial teams to execute strategies that drive growth and profitability in these states.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee state-specific product management, ensuring compliance with regulatory changes and alignment with company goals.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve growth and profit targets in TX, collaborating closely with various stakeholders on rate plans and filings.
  • Lead product development and pricing initiatives, utilizing market research and data analysis to identify opportunities and implement changes.
  • Partner with Legal and Compliance teams to resolve regulatory needs and with technology teams to translate business requirements into system specifications.
  • Manage multi-state projects from inception to execution, including product rollouts, system enhancements, and market entries.
  • Monitor product performance, analyze trends, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize product strategy and execution.
  • Communicate product vision and strategy to senior management and cross-functional teams, advocating for product improvements and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or other related field required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant industry experience in key functional areas, such as Underwriting, Pricing, Claims or Operations with three (3) years of direct product management or product development experience required.
  • Property underwriting, product management, or pricing experience in Texas is required.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and BI tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive product changes that align with business objectives.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects from concept to completion.
  • In-depth understanding of insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Must have property insurance product management, pricing, or underwriting experience in assigned states.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior experience with a top-20 personal lines homeowners writer.
  • Experience with A/B testing, data science applications, and agile methodologies.
