BECOMING OUR STATE ATTORNEY FILE CLERK This position offers $39,990 – $43,486 per year , along with an excellent benefits package that includes: Medical, dental, and vision insurance FSA Employer-paid life insurance Optional spouse coverage Pension Vacation and sick time Optional overtime bonus pay Job security A Closer Look At This State Attorney File Clerk Role You manage and maintain an orderly filing system across two file rooms, ensuring legal case files are accurate, accessible, and up to date. You pull files for hearings, retrieve documents for attorneys and staff, and prepare complete file sets for daily and weekly court schedules, including in‑custody lists. You organize and distribute materials for current and upcoming hearings, assist with printing notifications and service documents, and locate the appropriate files to support each request. Throughout the workday, you move between office floors and the courthouse, work collaboratively with coworkers, and maintain reliability, confidentiality, and precision in every task you handle. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong filing and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift and/or transport material weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to manage a physically active workload
  • Ability to work at a fast pace with high accuracy
  • Ability to alphabetize and file case materials
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to communicate professionally and diplomatically
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently with strict adherence to confidentiality
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
