Requirements

• Working towards the achievement of a bachelor’s degree – Degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred .
• General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data.
• Willingness to learn new technologies .
• Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Assists with Coordinating , compil ing , analyz ing , and distribut ing accurate and timely information to prepare and file documents related to telephony regulatory matters and compliance functions.
• Assist s with preparation and filing of revisions to regulatory documents.
• Assis ts in p repar ing correspondence and responsive materials to third parties and regulatory authorities.
• Test s basic tax mapping scenarios within the CLA tax lab and/or client’s tax engines to ensure appropriate and expected tax results.
• Support s testing and implementing systems and/or process changes to add increased efficiencies or conformance with tax rules
• Review s jurisdiction laws pertaining to exemptions and validate forms provided by client’s customers to ensure good faith standards are met to indemnify client from tax liability
• Contribute s to the development of requirements for new and existing client projects.
• Understand s and work s to resolve general customer issues.
• Participate s in other operational and strategic projects or duties as assigned.
