WEIS is looking for a Starbucks Leader who is passionate about teamwork and the growth of its associates and communities, and who treats associates with respect, understanding, and appreciation. The Starbucks Leader is responsible for ensuring proper staffing and scheduling to meet customer needs, equipping associates with the necessary knowledge and skills through consistent training, and managing sales and inventory to grow sales and minimize waste using the Starbucks Inventory Model. This role also involves maintaining operational standards, ensuring the store is clean, safe, and compliant with health and OSHA requirements, and engaging in disciplined planning to achieve goals. The leader is expected to coach associates for performance and development, ensure effective communication within the team, and actively encourage associates' coffee and craft ambitions. Additionally, the position requires business analysis and problem-solving to identify trends and improve results, operating cash registers, handling money properly, and utilizing company-provided Personal Protected Equipment (PPE). The Starbucks Leader will also supervise all associates within their department and may assist in other departments as needed.
