Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical credentials are a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of blueprint reading.
• Minimum 1 year of GD&T application and tolerance measurement with micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Minimum 1 year operating/setting up CNC machines preferred, not required (training available).
• Detail-oriented problem solver with a quality-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot Star CNC Swiss lathes independently.
• Perform tool changes and apply tool-wear offsets to maintain tight tolerances.
• Interpret blueprints, setup sheets, and work instructions to ensure conformance.
• Verify parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and optical comparators.
• Execute routine and daily preventative maintenance (P.M.).
• Complete first-piece inspection logs, maintenance logs, and work orders.
• Follow strict quality control, including ID and traceability protocols.
• Maintain a clean, safe, 5S-compliant workspace.
