Headquartered in Greeley, Colorado, (NBCE) is the international testing organization for the chiropractic profession, with the mission of ensuring professional competency and public safety through excellence in testing. Established in 1963, NBCE develops, administers, and scores standardized examinations for candidates seeking chiropractic licensure in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and in several international countries. ROLE SUMMARY: The Standardized Patient Educator (SPE) is responsible for training, quality assurance, and the ongoing professional development of Standardized Patients (SPs) and Technique Patients (TPs) used in high-stakes clinical skills assessments. This role ensures that SPs accurately and consistently portray patient cases, provide reliable ratings, where applicable, and adhere to strict protocols and confidentiality standards. The SPE is also actively involved in the recruitment and selection of SPs and TPs to ensure a skilled and reliable pool of participants. This role requires a high level of professionalism, reliability, and discretion in a high-stakes exam environment.
