About The Position

The Standard Line Supervisor reports directly to the Operations Supervisor and is responsible for ensuring products are manufactured according to controlled procedures and by trained personnel. The role maintains a safe and organized production line.

Requirements

High school Diploma or Equivalent, production line experience.
Computer savvy with basic mechanical skills for equipment changovers.
Must read, write, and speak English.
Must be able to stand all day
Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning production team for order completion.
Oversee and participate in manufacturing orders according to production and quality procedures.
Ensure production line employees follow company policies and report deviations to Operations Supervisor.
Meet production quantity and delivery quotas/dates.
Maintain daily production and scrap records (electronic and paper).
Ensure overall quality of completed product and product is made by trained personnel.
Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
Support production line employees with media, materials, set-up, and general production.
Rotate production team to avoid repetitive motion injuries and build cross-functional skills.
Work with material handler to ensure all raw materials are maintained proactively.
Work closely with Quality and Engineering employees to develop new processes and procedures.
Initiate production improvements through the Production manager
Notify Maintenance of any equipment issues. If Maintenance is not available, notify Engineering.
Perform any additional task as required.
