About The Position

Concessions/Gift Shop - Stand Manager (Seasonal, 25 hours per week, mid-May to mid-September) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Nightly management of all stand operations and employees in a single area, including setup, cleanup, and food prep. Provide staff training on proper food handling, alcohol service, and sanitation. Ensure proper procedures and training are being adhered to and follow up with staff needing additional training/support. Lead nightly preshow talk about the performance, expectations, and address any issues/areas of concern. Participate in a nightly wrap up meeting to identify any areas of concern and discuss potential solutions. Oversight of all cash handling and customer service including approving refunds, nightly register reconciliation and resolving customer service issues. Conducting nightly inventory and placing orders for the next performance. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Work a minimum of 4 nights a week/weekend.
  • Strong customer service skills.

  • Applicants who reside in any other state would be required to be physically located in and provide a local address in Virginia, Maryland, or the District of Columbia prior to starting work for Wolf Trap Foundation.
  • An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a background check.
