The Stager-Packer role, located in Indianapolis, IN, is a key part of the shipping business, reporting to the Shipping Supervisor. This position is responsible for preparing orders for shipment and assisting with picking orders as needed. It is suited for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment, and successful candidates will have some prior experience in shipping.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 months manufacturing experience required.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Physical ability to do repetitive lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to obtain lift truck certification.

Nice To Haves

• Six months shipping experience preferred.
• Strong administrative skills and attention to detail in working from shipping orders, parts, etc.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating the staging process utilizing RF process and performing variance checks.
• Utilize the Package Level Detail system to verify items and quantities against orders.
• Perform packing tasks assigned by Supervisor, i.e. repack main LTL packaging, rod packing and SDQ processing.
• Read orders for packing information, special instructions and pack accordingly.
