About The Position

Adept Talent applies AdeptID's Talent Matching AI to reinvent traditional healthcare staffing - initially through the Lucid Staffing brand. Combining AdeptID's matching platform and a multi-million clinician database, we deliver speed, precision, and scale that traditional firms can't match. We are now designing the future operating model of an AI-empowered staffing organization, and we're looking for a seasoned operator who knows the realities of staffing today and wants to help create what it can become tomorrow. We're hiring a Staffing Operations Director to lead and scale operations across all Adept staffing brands. This role touches recruiting, account management, compliance, client delivery, and the tech stack that powers them. The ideal candidate brings experience from both large agencies and smaller, entrepreneurial firms - and uses that experience as a springboard to help us reimagine what an AI-empowered staffing operation can look like. You'll be responsible for operational performance, cross-brand consistency, and ensuring that every workflow change or tech investment ties back to clear business ROI.

Requirements

  • A track record of improving staffing operations and accelerating delivery cycles across recruiting, AM, and compliance.
  • Experience in large agencies or smaller firms as an AM, BD lead, Recruiting Manager, or Ops leader - able to redesign processes and drive adoption.
  • Fluency with ATS systems, VMS/MSP environments, sourcing tools, CRM, and compliance platforms.
  • Strong systems thinking and comfort using automation and data to create scalable workflows where revenue grows faster than headcount.
  • A business-first mindset: you build ROI cases, communicate clearly across teams, and tie decisions to measurable improvements in speed, GP, candidate quality, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Drive operational excellence across Adept Talent's recruiting, AM, compliance, and delivery teams.
  • Evaluate and optimize the staffing tech ecosystem: ATS, VMS/MSP integrations, sourcing platforms, CRM, and automation tools.
  • Redesign processes so they fully leverage Adept's AI matching engine, enriched clinician database, and workflow automation.
  • Partner with brand leaders (including Lucid) to accelerate time-to-fill, improve submission quality, and increase overall throughput.
  • Support the building of dashboards, KPIs, and feedback loops that ground decisions in data, efficiency, GP impact, and ROI.
  • Work closely with Adept's Product & Engineering to turn operational insights into scalable tooling - and drive adoption across teams.
