Staffing/HR Coordinator - PPG Paints Arena Job Summary: Staffing/HR Coordinator will be directly responsible for the scheduling of all concession stand employees. This position will directly assist the Human Resources Manager of the location. This position will work during all public and private events at PPG Paints Arena which involves many nights and weekends. Requirements

  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, organization skills, and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 - 3 years work experience in a professional office setting
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling all concession employees in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement
  • Create and collect employee availability schedules.
  • Maintain the tracking of employee attendance and scheduling.
  • Coordinate concession employees for staffing of events.
  • Placement of employees for events.
  • Check-in concessions employees for work on event days.
  • Ensure all employees are in uniform; hand-out and collect uniforms as needed.
  • Ensure that employees are following ARAMARK's policies and procedures including those defined by the Employee Handbook and Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  • Distribute communications to employees as needed.
  • Address employee relations issues as needed.
  • Assist in the selection, hiring and on-boarding of new employees as needed.
  • Assist in the delivery and reinforcement of training programs as needed.
  • Assist with the recording and enforcement of accident/incident reporting as needed.
  • Support the HRM with all duties as needed.
  • Staffing and billing of staffing agencies.
