About The Position

Suncoast Behavioral Health Center offers a unique treatment programs across inpatient and residential programs for children and adolescents. In a highly specialized field of psychiatry, our goal is to promote cognitive, social, physical and emotional development to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills to help our patients succeed. The Hospital is looking for a Staffing Coordinator who will be responsible for the coordination and scheduling for the nursing department which includes Nursing Supervisors, Registered Nurses, Shift Supervisors, Lead Mental Health Technicians and Mental Health Technicians. In addition to all scheduling requirements, the Staffing Coordinator will also track attendance, PTO, overtime and missed punches. Must be able to organize and maintain records and logs related to work schedules. The Staffing Coordinator must have good communication skills and be able to interact with members of all hospital departments. Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent required.
Minimum of 1 year Staffing Coordinator experience with scheduling staff work schedules preferred.
Must have strong organizational skills.
Ability to communicate clearly, work proactively and collaborate within a team.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s Degree preferred.
Prefer prior experience with UKG scheduler.
Previous experience in hospital/behavioral health/mental health/human services preferred.
