The employee shall support Saddleback Medical Center’s strategic plan and participate in and advocate performance improvement/patient safety activities. The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for carrying out staffing policies/procedures and guidelines under the direction of the Operations Manager/Supervising Designee of each unit. This individual is responsible for communication, maintenance of accurate staffing sheets and logs, and data entry functions. Additional responsibilities include coordinating data entry of unit schedules. Other responsibilities include orientation and training of new staff and collaboration with the professional and non-professional employee towards achieving fiscal and quality care goals.
