Ascend Staffing is seeking a full-time Staffing Coordinator in Hobbs, New Mexico , to help recruit, interview, and onboard great talent for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in recruiting, human resources, and client relations—all while working with a company that values growth, teamwork, and service. Pay Rate: $15 - $16 Per Hour (DOE) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1 hour for Lunch) At Ascend Staffing, we believe in taking care of our people. Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience using social media and online job boards for recruiting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Self-motivated with a passion for helping people find meaningful work

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in staffing, recruiting, customer service, or HR is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, interview, and hire candidates for a variety of light industrial and clerical roles
  • Conduct orientations and ensure all onboarding documentation is complete and accurate
  • Build strong relationships with local businesses and ensure client satisfaction
  • Manage daily employee placements and resolve scheduling needs
  • Use our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage candidate flow and track placements (training provided)
  • Post job ads and source candidates through social media, job boards, and digital recruiting platforms
  • Support your Branch Manager in meeting weekly staffing and client service goals
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure client coverage when needed
