Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or Veterinary Medical Doctor Degree and license to practice in Arizona (or ability to obtain AZ license).
Active DEA license required.
2+ years of experience in general veterinary practice preferred; experience in shelter or community medicine a plus.
Strong knowledge and application of the spectrum of care model.
Genuine passion for providing accessible, non-judgmental care to underserved populations.
Positive, respectful communication style with a collaborative and team first approach.
Able to speak, read and write English; Spanish language helpful.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Explorer; able to learn other software programs as necessary.
Proficiency with or ability to learn/use Daysmart and Chameleon software.
Must pass pre-employment drug and background screening to be compliant with DEA requirements for dispensing controlled drugs.

Nice To Haves

2+ years of experience in general veterinary practice preferred; experience in shelter or community medicine a plus.
Spanish language helpful.
