About The Position

We're seeking a Staff Technology Operations professional to help shape how we plan, communicate, and execute technology strategy across Walmart. You'll work at the intersection of technology, storytelling, and operational excellence - helping leadership and teams translate complex initiatives into clear, structured, and actionable narratives that drive alignment and execution. You'll bring a blend of strategic thinking, systems understanding, and communication craft - ensuring that the story behind our technology is as strong as the technology itself. About the Team You'll join Walmart's Global Technology Platform organization as part of the Strategy & Operations team, supporting the platforms and infrastructure that power Walmart's digital ecosystem. The team connects technology, communication, and execution - ensuring that strategies spanning AI, data, developer platforms, and infrastructure are well-defined, clearly communicated, and consistently operationalized. We partner with engineering and business leaders to shape, align, and share the technology strategy that fuels Walmart's scale. From long-range planning to executive reviews and storytelling, our goal is to make complex technology understandable, actionable, and inspiring. What You'll Do

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in technology operations, program management, or strategic communications, ideally supporting large-scale or platform-driven tech organizations.
  • Proven ability to synthesize technical content into clear, concise, and visually engaging storytelling for executive and technical audiences alike.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, or similar tools - able to create executive-ready decks, whitepapers, and operational artifacts with precision and polish.
  • Strong writing and editorial skills - capable of producing newsletters, blog posts, and strategic documentation that communicate with clarity and influence.
  • An "eye for design" - skilled at layout, narrative flow, and branding consistency.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ownership-driven, curious, and passionate about technology, design, and the power of clear communication.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Figma, Canva, Adobe Suite, or other design and collaboration tools is a plus.
  • Master's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 3 years' experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. Responsibilities

  • Operationalize key initiatives across Global Technology Platform - ensuring clarity of priorities, measurable outcomes, and strong execution alignment across AI, data, and platform domains.
  • Work with technology and product leaders to craft cohesive, high-quality narratives (presentations, whitepapers, strategic docs) that communicate direction, outcomes, and insights across audiences.
  • Develop and manage content that enables decision-making and storytelling at scale - from executive presentations to org-wide communications, newsletters, and blog posts.
  • Create and maintain templates, design systems, and operational rhythms that make communication structured, cohesive, and on-brand across the organization.
  • Use data and metrics to inform narratives and decision frameworks; responsibly explore AI tools and creative prompts to enhance clarity, visualization, and content generation.
  • Ensure presentation decks, documents, and communications reflect a high visual and narrative standard - applying consistency that reinforces the Walmart Global Tech brand.
  • Partner with leadership, operations, and technical teams to ensure that every story - whether a platform update, AI initiative, or infrastructure milestone - is grounded in accuracy, purpose, and impact.
