About The Position

Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise. What You'll Do: Lead and manage manufacturing systems projects with a strong focus on ERP (e.g., SAP), MES, and digital technologies. Drive seamless integration of technology, automation, and process improvements to support manufacturing operations. Ensure successful delivery of small to complex programs through all phases of the project lifecycle. Manage tactical and strategic IT/CT projects across manufacturing, infrastructure, and enterprise systems, ensuring alignment with business goals. Lead the implementation and optimization of MES, ERP integrations, and manufacturing-related digital systems. Monitor system performance, analyze data and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality. Drive efficiency and standardization across manufacturing system workflows and configurations at multiple sites. Analyze system performance and manufacturing data to identify opportunities for automation, scalability, and process improvement. Coordinate system upgrades, migrations, and customizations with minimal impact to production. Act as a technical liaison between engineering, operations, quality, and external vendors. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, sprints, or kan-ban break-outs, schedules, estimates, resource plans, and risk assessments. Create collaborative partnerships and perform stakeholder management with customers, vendors and other teams to achieve project objectives. Track and manage scope, timeline, budget, quality, and stakeholder expectations across projects. Ensure deliverables such as project plans, communication plans, and risk registers are actively maintained and utilized. Adhere to company standards for release management, change control, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Project Management.
  • Technical Program Manager, Information Technology, IT Program Manager or related job title in which 5 years of experience managing integrations between MES, SCADA and PLC systems was gained, 2 years of which must be in the Automotive EV, or Li-Battery, or Aviation Manufacturing Industries.
  • Must have completed Project Management Professional (PMP), or PMI Agile Certified Professional (PMI-ACP), or Certified Scrum Master.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Project Management.
  • Technical Program Manager, Information Technology, IT Program Manager or related job title in which 2 years of experience managing integrations between MES, SCADA and PLC systems in the Automotive EV, or Li-Battery, or Aviation Manufacturing Industries was gained.
