About The Position

Agility Robotics is a pioneer. Our robot, Digit, is the first to be sold into workplaces across the globe. Our team is differentiated by its expertise in imagining, engineering, and delivering robots with advanced mobility, dexterity, intelligence, and efficiency -- robots specifically designed to work alongside people, in spaces built for people. Every day, we break through engineering challenges and invent new solutions and capabilities that will one day make robots commonplace and approachable. This work is our passion and our responsibility: our mission is to make businesses more productive and people’s lives more fulfilling. Role Overview We are seeking a Functional Safety Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive cross-functional execution and alignment for functional safety across a complex robotics platform. This role coordinates internal teams and external partners to support safety-critical milestones, maintain program clarity, and advance certification goals. Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end execution of the functional safety program across a complex, multi-vendor ecosystem
  • Drive integrated planning, delivery tracking, and alignment across internal teams and external partners
  • Establish execution frameworks spanning safety requirements, V&V activities, interface definitions, safety analyses, and certification milestones
  • Define and manage the critical path toward system safety goals and certification
  • Act as the central coordination point across hardware, software, systems engineering, compliance, validation, vendors, and certification bodies
  • Enable structured collaboration, decision-making, and cross-functional program alignment
  • Identify risks, resourcing gaps, and dependencies; drive mitigation strategies
  • Introduce scalable processes, governance, and operational rigor to improve predictability and execution maturity
