About The Position
deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Staff Systems Engineer in Huntsville, AL) Position Description: deciBel Research seeks a Staff Systems Engineer to support of the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the A&D MBSE team. This role is responsible for developing Systems Engineering products that directly support the design and development of the GWS capability on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/teams comprised of all experience levels.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM related field from an accredited university with eight years' experience, or a Masters degree and six years' experience, or a PhD and four years' experience.
- Strong technical background in systems engineering and verification
- Experience with DOORS
- Willing to assume a technical leadership role
- Demonstrated capability working both independently and within a team environment
- Systems engineering experience with large, complex systems
- Applicant selected must have an active Secret security clearance
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Nice To Haves
- Experience using JIRA
- At least 2-years' experience on GWS or GMD
