About The Position
deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a Software Engineer in Huntsville, AL. Position Description: deciBel Research has an immediate opening for a software engineer on the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the Architecture and Delivery automated Test and Verification team. Responsibilities include developing automation related software products in an agile environment in support of the GWS contract execution on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). Must possess good communication skills and be capable of working both independently and within team environments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM related field from an accredited university
- Professional development experience using Python
- Experience with components of the Software Development Life Cycle- software design requirements, application development, integration, testing, or deployment
- Familiarity with Agile software development using tools like Jira, Confluence, Fisheye/Crucible, and Bitbucket
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Applicant selected must have an active Secret security clearance
Nice To Haves
- Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science
- Experience developing technical solutions in collaboration with product teams
- Experience in software development for Test Automation
- Experience using Jenkins and Elasticsearch
- Experience in Agile/Scrum leadership roles such as Scrum Master or Product Owner
- Current Security+ certification
