About The Position

This individual leads, plans, synthesizes ambiguous or conflicting requirements and performs the complex responsibility of leveraging advanced Systems knowledge and experience to research, design, develop, simulate, and/or validate systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions while ensuring system-level requirements and standards are met. Performs complex functional analysis to drive requirements and specifications and to define and align with standards for hardware and software. Develops and analyzes complex system level design including requirements, interface definition, functional/performance definition, and implementation of a new system or modification of an existing system. Collaborates with cross functional teams (e.g., product management teams, engineering teams, etc.) to complete project work, including implementing and verifying the system. Develops algorithms and works on new and innovative ideas (e.g. IDFs) for a product or feature area. Drives triage of complex problems at the system level to determine root cause and presents results of testing and debugging to internal and external stakeholders. Moves projects forward and makes insightful, independent decisions related to moderately complex and new or exploratory tasks within their team; escalates decisions and regularly guides others in making decisions. Supports junior team members by encouraging them to participate in development opportunities; occasionally seeks out opportunities to guide team members to appropriate resources. Acts as a strong contributor at design reviews and project meetings and communicates and implements a development plan.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field.
  • Bachelor's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field and five (5) years of progressive experience in a related occupation.
  • Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
