About The Position

As a critical member of the Strategic Portfolio Management team, the Staff Strategic Analyst will be responsible for aggregating and evaluating data from a variety of sources to drive product portfolio tradeoffs at the Business Unit and Enterprise level. The Candidate will conduct financial, commercial, risk and resource analyses to create insights that influence product and commercial leadership executives. They will collaborate with the PMO, Strategy, Finance and Product Management functions to align resource allocations to achieve Intuitive's long-term strategic goals. The successful candidate will: Have a comprehensive understanding of the business and healthcare ecosystem to inform strategic tradeoffs. Have experience reviewing R&D programs as part of a broader portfolio optimization effort. This includes financial modeling, risk assessments, sensitivity analyses, decision trees, Monte Carlo simulations and other modeling techniques. Develop tools to support portfolio analyses and scenario planning across the organization. Build data visualizations that yield clarity and strategic insight to enhance decision-making processes at the highest organizational levels. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of portfolio optimization efforts, implementing continual improvements to increase forecast fidelity.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in MedTech strategy/analytics
• Proven analytical skills, with the ability to derive and synthesize strategic insights from data
• Advanced Excel, modeling and data visualization skills
• Critical thinking and curiosity
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and levels within the organization
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with executive leadership
• Effective prioritization skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field
