What you'll do... Position: Staff Software Engineer Job Location: 1375 Crossman Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94089 Duties: Build customer facing software application features and platform libraries using React and Redux ES6 JavaScript framework and Ajax and REST based APIs developed in Java and Node. Build libraries that create promises for handling asynchronous operations or blocking software code such as API calls. Build fault-tolerant, high performance, front-end architecture solutions for medium to large customer facing software applications using solutions such as Webpack and Babel. Build highly performant software applications by deriving solutions based on algorithms with the least possible runtime complexities. Analyze software solutions, calculate the complexity of the respective algorithms used to derive the solutions, and choose the optimum solution with the least complexity. Build software solution tools to measure software code quality, server-side performance, and resiliency metrics using JavaScript based frameworks such as React, Angular.js, and Node.js. Create prototypes from ideas and mockups from wire frames to enable the development of user-friendly applications and discussion of design feasibilities. Triage and fix bugs and ensure that software code is performant and functional across all popular web browsers and mobile devices. Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years of experience in software engineering or related area; OR Master's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years of experience in software engineering or related area. Skills required: Experience developing front-end applications using HTML5, CSS3, SASS, JavaScript, Typescript including ECMAScript 5, 6, and 7, ReactJS, Next.js and Webpack based on visual designs. Experience setting up the front-end architecture of applications using React, Webpack, Babel, and Node JS. Experience writing Unit Tests for ReactJS components using Jest. Experience with rendering views consuming REST and GRAPHQL based JSON response from multiple APIs. Experience developing micro front ends and web components for building reusable, scalable component libraries using ReactJS, Angular Elements and Stencil. Experience building customer facing features and platform libraries using Vanilla JavaScript, React JavaScript, Angular JavaScript framework, Node JS, AJAX, and REST based APIs development in Java and Node. Experience designing and implementing Rest API web services using Java, JAX-RS, and Node. Experience coding in an object-oriented programming language Java and Typescript. Experience building software solution tools to measure software code quality, server-side performance, and resiliency metrics using JavaScript based frameworks including React, Angular.js, and Node.js. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills. Salary Range: $143,000/year to $286,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
